Crisis Response of Southeast Minnesota provides qualified counselors who are able to respond to any problem 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by phone. Services are no cost, confidential and immediately accessible. Counselors help the caller reach a place of emotional and physical safety and then direct the caller to available community resources that offer longer-term support. Phone counselors provide over the phone assessments, safety plans and support. Our phone counselors can connect you to local teams able to meet where you are and provide additional support.

A mental health crisis or emergency is a behavioral, emotional or psychiatric situation which without timely mental health intervention would result in a significantly reduced level of functioning or placement.

Crisis Response offers 24/7 phone counseling to those experiencing a mental health crisis. If you need additional support, trained staff will refer you to our mobile teams or other services available in your area.

Our phone support staff have the ability to dispatch our Crisis Response mobile teams. These teams can meet you in the community to complete a more comprehensive assessment and planning to support you through the current crisis situation.
